Another fabulous sunset, Ngapali beach, MyanmarWordPress.com prepared a 2014 annual report for my blog. In sheer size of viewing numbers they surmise that the concert hall at the Sydney Opera House holds 2,700 people; vickygoestravelling was viewed about 18,000 times in 2014. If it were a concert at Sydney Opera House, it would take about 7 sold-out performances for that many people to see it. That’s quite a good feeling! Keep clicking please…
Here are the most viewed blogs, illustrating the ups and downs of the year – which has ended nevertheless on a high! Clear health, on my skis again, despite being taken out TWICE in one week by beginners, and now having a duvet day to try and rest my poor old back, bum and shoulder, which are all covered in bruises! But I will not be deterred and will venture out when it’s quieter tomorrow, New Year’s Day, when everyone is hung-over!

Dear Vicky Happy New Year ! I hope 2015 will be as interesting and productive for you as the year just gone, and also a good year for you healthwise – that you continue to look and feel as good as you do now.
I have been following your blog and have learned so much, about the countries you’ve visited and your life in general. I have especially enjoyed your amazing photos. Congratulations on all your achievements last year – I look forward especially to Sheila’s letters and would love to be at the book launch ! If you have time whilst you are in London it would be lovely to see you. If not I’ll continue to keep in touch via your blog. Love to you, Ross and Tommy, Jill x

And happy New Year to you too! I am coming back next week, but dashing up top Durham t sort out my aunt and then coming back here again for a long weekend. Will try and see if there is some time before I go back to Singers. And of course you will be invited to teh book launch; just trying to organise a date in June. We will gather some of her old friends around…hoping Felicity Kendal might come as she has written the Preface. Much love Vx

Jill, so sorry not to have been in touch earlier. Have been clearing my aunt’s house in Durham and am now in Switzerland and go back to Singapore at the end of the week. The book launch will probably be 11 June; will keep you posted! Vx
